Alex Hargreaves - Home
Alex Hargreaves of Corvallis, Oregon, plays a wide variety of string music styles including jazz, bluegrass, new acoustic, Texas style, and classical. In June, 2007, Alex won the Grand Champion division at the National Oldtime Fiddlers' Contest in Weiser, Idaho, the youngest contestant ever to win that division. He has shared the stage with many prominent musicians including Mike Marshall, David Grisman, Mark O'Connor, Chris Thile, Tim O'Brien, and Darol Anger.
